ONLINE COURSES

Hello Dear Donors.

We are happy to say that our online courses have started and are being a real success. We feel that  this new form of teaching is being more effective than the in-person classes. There is more demand and more interest. Perhaps this is also due to the catastrophic job scenario in Brazil. We currently have 17 pupils.

During this first month of classes the new economic scenario in Brazil was presented to the participants. This helped maximize their understanding on how important customer satisfaction has become.

Contents include:

- crisis, change and the future of work

- automation of work processes

- customer service fundamentals

- case analyses

- emotional health

Means used are:

Geogle Meet, Google Classroom, Google Primer, Flashcards, Easyedu etc.

The commitment of participans has been surprisingly good. When there is  some difficulty in connecting, contact  is always made to justify the absence. This was rarely the case in the in-person courses.

Participation in extra-curricular activities has also been excellent, with reading of study material, participation in questionnaires, interaction through audio and texts as well.

Although digital teaching is not entirely new for students, as they live this routine at school and have also taken courses in the same format, building bonds between participants is always a challenge.

Therefore spontaneous dialogue, whether in the intervals of activities, at the beginning or even at the end, contributes to establsh bonds between students, teacher and entity.

The work of our Social Assistant has been fundamental in bringing all this together. Note that by law in Brazil one has to pay the services of a Social Assistant.

ON TOP OF ALL THIS, WE HAVE MANAGED TO DISTRIBUTE A FOOD BASKET PER MONTH TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PARTICIPANTS. THAT GIVES THEM EXTRA MOTIVATION TO WORK HARD ON OUR COURSES!

We are all very happy with the results so far.

Thank you all again for your continued support.

Maria Helena
