Train 360 youths for the workplace in Sao Paulo

Dear Donor,

At mid-year we can say that things are doing just fine: our courses are full and we have built experience in providing online courses. We are now working with two groups:

- one course composed of women between the ages of 18 and 39 years who live in social homes, whereby they are introduced and trained to use basic digital tools, in order to provide them some knowledge on how to use a computer and find a simple job in shops, supermarkets etc. 

- another course composed of pupils between the ages 16 and 34 years, that provide them a more technical training.

Courses are ministered using Google For Education tools (Google Meet, Google Classroom, Google Primer, Flashcards, Canva Design, EasyEdu etc.).

We also use the premises of a sister NGO (Sylvio Passarelli Institute) to do in person workshops from time to time. 

We hope that once these classes are finished, we will be able to come back to you with a couple of good stories of pupils who were able to find a job.

Dear donor, 

As you well know, Brazil lacks professional workforce in many areas, especially in the digital sector. 

ADAE has put in place a program that helps it´s youths to prepare themselves for the digital sector market. The program offered in 2021 several Google courses (with whom we signed a partnership) in the areas of Digital Marketing, Career Development , Technology and so forth.

Tools used were: Google Classroom, Google Meet, Google Primer, Flashcards, Canva Design, Easy Edu etc.

We have also developed a partnership with a World Class Fragrance Company who will take (and pay!) our youths as trainees to help them build experience and prepare them for the workplace challenges. 

In addition, we received generous donations of Food Baskets that we distributed to the families of the pupils and to other needing families of the communities of Sapé, Vila D´Alva and Jardim Ester-Yolanda. A total of 190 food baskets were distributed to 95 families. What a joy that was!

All this is done with our highly competent Digital course Coordinator/Technical Specialist and our Social Assistant, and thanks to your generous donations.

Given the success of this course, we have already started new classes in 2022.
