Team Rubicon is a global humanitarian organization, helping communities before, during, and after disasters and crisis. Team Rubicon utilizes veterans’ skills and experience to reach isolated and under-resourced communities, filling a gap in relief services. Our goal is to restore the safety and health of houses and communities, enabling people to live safely and resiliently through disasters and crises.

In 2024, Team Rubicon impacted over 3 million individuals through our disaster relief, recovery, and mitigation efforts. We completed 92 operations, served over 800 communities, and rebuilt 16 homes. If you would like to step into the arena with us in 2025, please consider donating to our Ready Reserve Fund!

Highlights of our recent accomplishments:

California Wildfire Recovery: Following the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County in January 2025, our local volunteers have accomplished the following outcomes in partnership with Southern California communities:

  • 24,000+ People Impacted
  • 440+ Volunteers Deployed

Hurricanes Helene and Milton Responses: Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton last year, communities faced (and continue to experience) an immense level of damage caused by devastating winds and flooding. Their homes were left inaccessible, unsafe, and in many cases, washed away entirely. We have provided free-of-charge services to residents, throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee and accomplished the following:

  • 70,000+ People Impacted
  • 1,760+ Volunteers Deployed

Team Rubicon’s Ready Reserve Fund stands as the cornerstone of Team Rubicon’s mission, a testament to our unwavering dedication since 2010. This unrestricted fund is the strategic enabler that allows us to be quick and strategic in our disaster response. It empowers us to act swiftly, ensuring that we can extend our reach to any community in need, regardless of the disaster’s nature or location.

In essence, the Ready Reserve Fund is the driving force behind our ability to serve with equity and innovation. It’s the foundation upon which we build our capacity to respond, recover, and rebuild, ensuring that every community we touch can emerge stronger from the trials of disaster.

Here’s how the Ready Reserve Fund amplifies our flexibility and commitment to equitable service distribution:

  • Agility in Disaster Response: The fund allows us to mobilize resources rapidly, adaptingto the unique challenges each disaster presents. Whether it’s deploying teams to remoteareas or scaling up operations in urban centers, the Ready Reserve Fund ensures thatwe can respond with the urgency that each situation demands.
  • Support for Veteran Volunteers: By bolstering the spirits of our veteran volunteers, theReady Reserve Fund contributes to their sense of purpose and community integration, which is vital for their well-being.
  • Equitable Aid Distribution: The Ready Reserve Fund enables us to prioritize aid basedon need, not on visibility or media attention. This ensures that even the mostunderserved communities receive our support, aligning with our core value of equity inservice.
  • Capacity Building: Unrestricted funds are crucial for organizational growth. They allow usto invest in training for our volunteers, expand our operational capabilities, and enhanceour readiness to serve communities better.
  • Community Engagement: The fund supports our efforts to engage with local
communities year-round, not just in times of crisis. This continuous presencehelps buildtrust and allows us to understand and address the unique needs of each community weserve.
