The Maternal Health Initiative

The maternity home has been a cornerstone in providing essential maternal and reproductive healthcare services over the past decade. The following statistics highlight the remarkable contributions made between 2018 to date:

 Key Achievements

• Deliveries: A total of 4,062 successful deliveries were conducted, ensuring safe births and maternal care. In the month of Oct 2024 63 babies were delivered.
• Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA): 158 procedures were performed to address complications in early pregnancy.
• Antenatal Care (ANC): 5,452 antenatal care sessions were provided, supporting healthy pregnancies and timely interventions. Total of 26 ANC cases were catered to in the month of October 2024
• Laboratory Services: The facility conducted 3,249 laboratory tests, aiding in accurate diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Family Planning Services: With 8,121 family planning cases, the maternity home has played a pivotal role in promoting reproductive health and empowering families with choices. 50 women and men were provided information and tool catering to family planning for October 2024.
• Medical Consultations: A total of 5,579 consultations were offered, addressing a wide range of health concerns.
• Ultrasounds: 13,765 ultrasounds were conducted, supporting diagnostics and monitoring for better health outcomes.

Total Services Provided

Since implementation, the maternity home provided support to 40,386 services, underscoring its unwavering commitment to community health and well-being.
