Project Report | Feb 27, 2023
Three students supported.

By Jerome Kabakyenga | Project Leader

Dear GlobalGiving Family,

Greetings and Congratulations for having completed 2022.

Mayanja Memorial Hosptal Foundation whose headquarters are in Mbarara, Uganda is slowly recovering from the challenges brought about by COVID-19 pandemic. The Foundation has identified 3 students for partial support to complete their programmes. The 3 students selected have had cjhallenges in completing fees payments. The selection of the 3 students has been largely based on socioeconomic status of the parents/guardian who are not in position to pay the total fees for the final semester of the programme. If the the partial fees were not completed the students would have applied for a "dead year" and gone home. This would have meant they would be expected to complete their programme in 2024, that would also depend on them to obtain funds to pay. Thanks to GlobalGiving Donors for the generous support.

Mayanja Memorial Hospital Foundation extends appreciation to GlobalGiving Donors for this support.

Gratefully yours,

Jerome Kabakyenga
