Your Kindness Helped Latifa Beat Cancer!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

There are moments when a donation becomes far more than financial support.

For Latifa, it became a path back to life.

She was diagnosed with stomach cancer after reaching a point where eating had become extremely difficult. The diagnosis brought fear, uncertainty, and the painful possibility that treatment might be out of reach.

But because of your generosity, Latifa was able to access the medical care she urgently needed.

Her cancer was detected, treated, and followed by surgery to remove the mass. The operation was successful, and after a difficult period of illness and recovery, Latifa is now cancer-free.

This outcome was possible because donors like you helped keep free medical services available to vulnerable patients in northern Syria.

Your support gave Latifa access to doctors.

To treatment.

To surgery.

And ultimately, to recovery.

For her and her family, this was not simply a medical success. It was the return of hope after a long and frightening struggle.

And Latifa is not alone.

Many patients across northern Syria are still living with serious illnesses and conditions they cannot afford to treat on their own. For them, access to free medical care can mean the difference between suffering without options and receiving the treatment that can save or transform their lives.

Thank you for helping make stories like Latifa’s possible.

As the Prophet Muhammad said:

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress from the distress of this world, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Resurrection.”

May your generosity continue to bring relief, healing, and hope to those who need it most.

With sincere gratitude,
