Zakaria is one of those patients.

He visited the neurology clinic after suffering from recurring headaches. At first, the symptoms may have seemed ordinary—but an MRI scan revealed a mass in his brain.

Because the condition was detected early, doctors were able to develop a treatment plan before it progressed and caused severe neurological complications.

One of them is Baby Ahmad.

Ahmad was born prematurely and, within his first days of life, developed severe respiratory distress. His tiny lungs were struggling, and his condition quickly became life-threatening.

He was rushed to the intensive care unit at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, where our medical team began urgent treatment and continuous monitoring.

Because the right care was available at the right moment, Ahmad survived.

Today, he is breathing more comfortably, growing stronger, and moving closer to returning home with his family.

They helped provide the intensive care, medication, equipment, and skilled medical attention Ahmad needed during the most fragile moments of his life.
