Support for Teens

(October - 2021)

We are glad to share with you all children progress report for this currant period.

Industries & functioning that were crippled due to the Corona epidemic have now resumed, So the kids and all of us are excited to work enthusiastically.The children are very happy because we heard that schools will resume soon.Life seems to be recovering from a broken routine for the past 1.5 year.

Let's take a look at the activities that have taken place in the past quarter.

Academic Review

Our one girl appeared for diploma in Electronic & Telecommunication has successfully completed the diploma and passed with distinction. She is academically clever and likes to study as well. She wants to do the job in her educational field. Simultaneously she is also working in “Vijayashree” tailoring unit started by the above 18 years of girls under the supervision of Manavya.

One of alumni has recently completed the diploma in Electronic & Telecommunication and passed with distinction. She is also started doing job in one of the leading software company. We really feel very proud of all our girls for their true efforts.

Special Event arranged for children

In the month of August,2021 we have organized the book release ceremony of the book "Kavyapriya" written by our girl at Manavya Gokul, Bhugaon. Famous poet, writer was present as the chief guest of the event. He gave very good guidance to Supriya for the next journey. Her friends in the organization expressed their feelings about her in nice words. Everyone gave her heartfelt blessings and best wishes. This book is available for sale at Manavya Paud Road Office. You should definitely encourage her by reading.

Marriage Ceremony of Our Inmate

The marriage ceremony of one of our inmates, was held on 7^th July 2021 at Manavya Gokul. She came in Manavya in the year 2004. She was only 3 years old when she came to the institute. She was married to a boy who is having same medical background like her. Due to the outbreak of Corona, the marriage ceremony was held in Gokul only in the presence of few outside people and Manavya team members. There was a very enthusiastic atmosphere in the organization on that day. All the trustee members and other children wished her all the best for her future life. All the attendees enjoyed the meal and the marriage ceremony function.

Adolescent life is never easy

Report – Support for Teens

We think that teens mean independence...! We try to give our teen an appropriate time and space to be their own. We always encourage our adolescent kids to do something progressive in their day-to-day life. We motivate them to do study as well as we also emphasize on the other creative activities as well.

Some of the highlights are as below. Let’s start with the educational support.

One of our girls is now appeared for 3rd year diploma in Electronics Engineering. She scored 75% marks in the final examination of 2^nd year and completed the year with destination. She is the first girls candidate in our institution who will become an engineer in near future. This we consider as our great achievement.

Our tailoring unit is now established very well and we now getting many new orders from the customer, individual as well as bulk order and we are reasonably successful in completing the orders in time. This all is possible because the training we are providing to this unit. A team ARISE is taking more efforts to motivate them and to guide them in the various areas like customer relation, marketing skill, time management, skill enhancement, cost management etc. This is really helpful to became a skilled entrepreneur.

Bakery and confectionary are a wide scope area. We have to give the cookery and food making training to our girls above 18 years. As in this process of rehabilitation we do arrange marriage of our above 20 years of girls & boys’ children from our institute. We think that girl should have a basic knowledge of cooking. Our girls are now expert in making daily food, cake making, potato wafers. Also, they can make Tootie fruity from the raw papaya fruit.

Happy Movements...!

We are happy to share with you all that one of our girl is getting marry in the month of July 2021. We are very happy that she is getting her family and will settle down in her life forever. She is 20 years old and completed the advance course of Fashion Designing. She is working in a garment shop in a tailoring department where she can now stitch regular wear dresses, party wear dresses, masks, alteration etc.

The boy is from Pune. He is working in a Law Firm and also appear for last year of LLB. He is from nuclear family, in her family he has Mother, Brother etc. All are very moderate in nature. We are sure that she will spend rest of her life happily with the boy.

Your Future Awaits..

Dear All.. development & progress of our kids..!

development activity with the collaboration of ARISE…It is a platform for ambitious young generation who wants to became a successful entrepreneur. By the time our tailoring unit is taking shape and now there are many varieties of products available in Vijayashree Utilities. This is happening with the great guidance of the team ARISE.Theyprovided job opportunities to one of our children who have dropped out from the Manavya after 18 years.

We have now started a new activity of making cakes. One of our staff has taught the girls how to make wheat cake with different flavors like vanilla, chocolate, orange etc. We are now considering taking orders from outside. We hope that girls can now bake order half to one kilo cakes and the customer will definitely like the cake made by girls. One day during the Christmas celebration, one of our staff baked a nice Christmas themed cake for the children and took them to the institution to give the children a nice surprise. The kids really enjoyed it. It's great to feel like someone made a cake out of love for you.

Now the girls have started handling the workings of their tailoring unit independently as they now take orders on their own, give the customer a delivery date, they ensure that the order is completed within the given time frame. We are now considering hiring an external trainer to teach stitching some new products with new ideas. Hopefully in the near future they will start their own business and stand on their own feet to survive in the society.

Cultural Program for mind refreshment -

Baal Geet Ramayana Program – During this period children enjoyed a beautiful event of “Baal Gita Ramayana”. One of our trustees invited the children of Manavya to attend this program. The program was presented by the kids of 12 to 15 years of age from “Aakar Group”. Aakar group is an institution of teaching music to kids.
