Title: School Kits & Books Distributed in 23 Hut Schools Across Pakistan
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation recently distributed school kits and books among children enrolled in our 23 Hut Schools across Pakistan. Alongside this, regular classes continue to be held, ensuring that children from underprivileged and marginalized communities have access to education and learning opportunities.
Story / Update
Education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty, yet thousands of children in Pakistan remain out of school due to poverty, disasters, and lack of facilities. To bridge this gap, Alkhidmat has established 23 Hut Schools in remote and underserved areas of the country.
These Hut Schools serve as safe learning spaces for children who otherwise would have no access to formal education. Recently, we provided students with school kits including bags, stationery, and books, enabling them to continue their studies with dignity and motivation.
Teachers are conducting regular classes in these schools, covering basic literacy, numeracy, and general knowledge. For many children, this is their first-ever school experience, and for parents, it is a ray of hope for a brighter future.
Beneficiaries
Direct Impact: Hundreds of children enrolled in 23 Hut Schools.
Target Group: Out-of-school and underprivileged children in rural and disaster-affected areas.
Impact
Children now have the essential school supplies to actively participate in class.
Parents feel encouraged to send their children to school regularly.
These small steps are contributing to long-term community development by nurturing educated future generations.
Next Steps
Alkhidmat is committed to expanding its Hut School initiative to more areas across Pakistan, reaching children who are still deprived of education. We also plan to strengthen teacher training and provide more learning materials to improve the quality of education.
Gratitude Note
We sincerely thank GlobalGiving donors and supporters for making this possible. Your contributions have turned into school kits, books, and learning opportunities for children who had little hope of going to school. Together, we are planting seeds of knowledge and building a brighter future for Pakistan’s children.
