Title: School Supplies Distributed at Chownra (Hut) School, Tharparkar
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation has successfully conducted a School Supplies Distribution Drive at Chownra (Hut) School, Tharparkar, supporting children in one of Pakistan’s most remote and underserved desert regions.
This initiative empowered young learners with essential educational materials, helping them continue their studies with motivation and ease.
The activity is part of Alkhidmat’s broader commitment to improving education access in marginalized communities across Pakistan.
Story / Update
Tharparkar is among the most impoverished districts in Pakistan, where educational facilities are limited and children often attend schools lacking even basic learning resources. Many families are unable to afford essential supplies, which affects attendance, retention, and overall learning outcomes.
To support these young learners, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a School Supplies Distribution at Chownra (Hut) School—an informal community school operating in a vulnerable desert settlement.
The distribution included:
School bags
Notebooks and writing materials
Basic stationery
Learning essentials
For these children, receiving school supplies means more than just materials—it represents hope, encouragement, and the opportunity to learn in a better environment.
Teachers shared that students were excited, more attentive, and eager to participate in class after receiving the supplies. Parents expressed immense relief, as the support eased their financial burden while motivating their children to stay in school.
Beneficiaries

Indirect Impact: Teachers, families, and the broader community benefiting from improved learning engagement
