We are delighted to share our recent events and activities at SUKRUPA SuMargadarshak. Here's a glimpse of our recent endeavors:

SuMargadarshak is a part of SUKRUPA, which supports college students through mentoring, training, arts & crafts, life skills, project development, and scholarships, which has made a significant impact on the lives of students. These activities emphasize the program's dedication to holistic development, community involvement, and empowering students to pursue their dreams. Your support enables these opportunities and contributes to the program's success. 

Pay Pal Visit:

On December 13, 2023, SuMargadarshak students and coordinators visited PayPal for a career orientation and mentorship training event. The day began with unique self-introductions and "Would you rather?" questions. Following the introduction, Mr. Bhabani conducted a session on secure digital financial security, emphasizing the importance of confidentiality in bank transactions. The students learned about secure payment methods and practices.

Mr. Wisnu shared inspiring insights into his career journey and entry into the corporate world. The students then engaged in mentoring sessions, focusing on skill development, goal planning, and connecting with mentors for career growth. 

The students were grouped for interactive sessions with two mentors. Topics included gaining new skills, effective interview introductions, presentability, and resume building.

The Salesforce's Engineering team mentoring sessions:

The tech Sessions with Salesforce empowered students to develop digital skills - viz Excel, ChatGPT, Canva,  PPT, etc. The Mentorship Program for Salesforce Participants connected students with experienced mentors, enhancing their career prospects and personal growth. 

SuMargadarshak Students, Parents Meeting:

The SuMargadarshak Parents Meeting facilitated collaboration between parents, students and SUKRUPA. During this meeting, the parents spoke about their problems and how SUKRUPA is helping them through SuMargadarshak programs for the overall development of their children.

SuMargadarshak Scholarship Distribution:

SuMargdarshak is a scholarship and mentoring program for SUKRUPA school alumni. It provides a basic foundation for first-generation students to understand the importance of continuing college education and completing graduation. Students receive academic support, life skill development, communication skills, team building, leadership, professional skills, and training in the latest technology to prepare themselves for a profession of their choice to pursue a dream career. 

The SuMargardarshak 18 Undergraduate students received the 2nd Installment of Scholarship.

Social Media Session by Irene: 

Irène is an International fashion model from Bengaluru. Born and raised in the heart of the city, she is truly a girl of the soil. There is nothing she can’t do, from being trained in Bharatanatyam, Classical Indian music, Western Music, Boxing, Badminton, Swimming, Cricket, and Skating.

This international personality spoke about social media to all our SuMargadarshak Students and gave insights into using social media platforms in various ways to promote campaigns, Writing Captions, and other pros and cons of social media, thereby using the latest technology.

The SuMargadarshak Performing Arts:

The SuMargadarshak Performing Arts allowed students to showcase their music, dance, and theater talents. To help the students continue their passion.

We are delighted to share our recent events and activities at SUKRUPA. Here's a glimpse of our recent endeavors:

SuKallp: Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders Through SuKallp: Where Passion Meets Potential: On July 19, 2023, we marked a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of the SuKallp program. The primary objective of SuKallp is to empower teenagers with essential life skills, understand their interests and talents, and nurture them to pursue their passions. 

Since its launch, the SuKallp program has seen enthusiastic participation from students who are keen to learn new skills. Your generosity has allowed us to offer a diverse range of learning opportunities, encompassing areas such as dance, STEM education, theater, art, crafts, and music. By fostering creativity and providing a supportive learning environment, we are empowering our students to reach their full potential.

SUKRUPA’s SuKallp in Jaipur and Telangana: After dedicating nearly 25 years to the development sector, working at the grassroots level, and uplifting generations, our first experience at the 10th #indiacsrsummit2023 and #ESGForum in New Delhi, an initiative by CSR Box, was truly energizing. The event covered diverse aspects of development, fundraising opportunities, and compliance documentation, providing a wealth of knowledge and inspiration for the future.

We had the pleasure of bringing our alumni, potential future leaders, to ensure the continuity of SUKRUPA programs for first-generation learners. It was inspiring to see so many individuals engaged in impactful work.

Our time in Jaipur focused on SUKRUPA's SuKallp program for Pre-Teens and Teenagers in Rajasthan, particularly young girls, and students from tribal communities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Navdeep from Sierra Cloud for his invitation, warm hospitality, and valuable connections for potential collaboration. We are excited to establish our first SuKallp Centre in Jaipur in January 2024.

During our visit to Lingampally in Rural Hyderabad, Telangana, we explored opportunities for establishing one more SuKallp center in Lingampally. Our approach involves leveraging the skills of local women and self-help groups to empower preteens and teenagers, guiding them to focus on their interests and talents, and providing mentorship and skill sets to first-generation learners, enabling them to continue their education and pursue higher studies.
