Restoring Independence Through Prosthetics
By Vasim Cablut | Project Leader

Dear Supporter,
As part of our ongoing mission to promote inclusion and restore autonomy, the NSPPL centers in Syria have launched a focused effort to provide prosthetic limbs to individuals who have suffered previous amputations. Many of these individuals have lived for years without proper support or mobility tools, limiting their ability to participate fully in daily life.
Today, with the help of our experienced teams, they are receiving custom-designed prosthetics, along with personalized training to regain function, confidence, and independence. This vital work not only restores mobility—it restores dignity, self-worth, and hope.
Your continued support is what makes this possible. Thank you for being part of this life-changing journey.
Sincerely,

Dear Friend,
Every step taken by our patients is a testament to your compassion and support. At NSPPL’s centers in Al-Bab, Afrin, and our mobile clinic in Jarabulus, individuals with limb loss receive expert care through precise prosthetic fitting and personalized mobility training. These efforts go beyond medical assistance—they offer freedom, dignity, and the ability to reintegrate into daily life with confidence. The calibration process ensures each prosthetic fits naturally and functions effectively, while ongoing training helps patients adapt to movement and regain control of their independence. Your contributions are turning hardship into hope, one step at a time.
Warmest thanks,

Empowering Recovery: A New Start for Ms. Arifa

Dear Supporter,
We are thrilled to share the story of one of our most impactful interventions through the custom WHO (Wrist Hand Orthotics) device—an innovation that NSPPL proudly crafts and provides to patients in northern Syria.
Recently, we had the honor of welcoming Ms. Arifa, a resilient 60-year-old woman from Afrin, to our NSPPL center. She had been struggling with right-hand drop due to a stroke. After thorough evaluation, our team swiftly designed and fitted a specialized WHO orthotic device tailored to her condition.
This device is more than a medical aid—it’s a bridge to independence. With continued use, Ms. Arifa is on a promising path to regain full mobility in her hand, allowing her to reclaim her autonomy and daily function.
Stories like hers are made possible by the generosity of people like you. Your support helps us deliver life-changing solutions to those facing the challenges of neurological injury and disability. As we continue to respond to such critical needs, we are reminded of the ongoing importance of sustainable giving.
Thank you for being part of this journey of healing and hope.
Warm regards,
