This campaign supports individuals with disabilities in Syria and Turkey by providing essential prosthetic and orthotic services to improve their independence and quality of life.
The Syrian conflict, now in its 13th year, along with the February 2024 earthquake, has created a massive humanitarian crisis. Over 16.7 million people need urgent assistance, and individuals with disabilities are among the most affected. Limited access to medical care and rehabilitation services leaves these individuals unable to rebuild their lives, increasing their vulnerability and dependence.
Through dedicated centers in Syria and Turkey, we provide prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices to restore mobility and independence. To date, we've empowered 861 individuals, including 273 children, to reintegrate into their communities. Our comprehensive care also includes psychological support, helping beneficiaries regain confidence and stability.
Restoring mobility transforms lives. By enabling individuals with disabilities to actively participate in their communities, we foster resilience and self-reliance. Our work strengthens families, builds inclusive societies, and ensures that every individual has the opportunity to thrive and contribute.
