Mama Respond recently been able to finally travel to Kitengela, Kenya and start all necessary works to begin the building of our special needs unit at Noonkopir Township Primary School. We again would like to thank our donors for believing in our mission, sharing our values, and creating a community invested in improving health for better education.
We are thrilled that along with the funds raised from GlobalGiving we were awarded a $40,000USD from the Australian High Commission in Kenya which has gone directly to our special needs unit and means we are able begin construction in the coming months, with all funds being sent directly to our architect and builder for relevant build works.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you kindly for your support last year, and we look forward to putting your donation towards a safe educational space for children with special needs. This project will now be finalised and we are excited to bring you a new project in the coming weeks.
