Your gift helped displaced families in South Sudan begin to rebuild their lives. Thank you so much for giving!
One way you helped was with clean water! Because of you, Peter and other children like him have clean, disease-free water to drink now, and they are healthy!
Before his village had a well or his family had a water filter, Peter was constantly getting sick from drinking contaminated water. The water looked bad to him, but he had no other choice, so he drank it. Because of that, he lived with chronic stomach pain and diarrhea. Sometimes he was so sick he couldn’t even go to school or get out of bed. And when he did go to school, he had a hard time focusing on what his teacher was saying because he felt so sick.
Then you helped to fix the well in Peter’s village and gave his family a water filter. The well provides easy access to clean water and the filter gets rid of any of the bacteria and parasites that could make Peter sick.
Thank you for giving Peter and his family such a precious gift—clean, disease-free water!
This is our final report for emergency relief to families in South Sudan. But the need continues, and if you would like to walk alongside a village there we would love to have you join our One Village Transformed program. You can find out more about it in the link below.
Thank you, again, for giving! Families in South Sudan have been saved because of you!
