Dear Friends,

Greetings and may I thank you for your generous support to our project to provide solar-powered light for off-grid families here. Families that have no access to electricity lives in far-flung barrios and are often severely disadvantaged and the solar-powered lanterns provides them with huge benefits. Our project is on to a good start with your generous donation. This reporting period we have already purchased 750 solar-powered lanterns for distribution to our beneficiaries. The lanterns are not given free as we are discouraging dole-outs but the recipients have to pay for them with the reflows to be used to purchase more lanterns. In so doing this project will go on and on as more reflows will be used for additional purchases. We intend to tie this also with our existing project supporting small business entrepreneurs. We are also on discussion with the engineering department of a big university here in order to locally produce solar-powered lanterns.

Again thank you very much for your generous support.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora
