Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project providing solar lamps for very poor families living off the grid. Last reporting period, we conducted field assessment in areas hardest hit by Typhoon Vinta and found out that those living in remote regions have no access to electricity making their lives more difficult as they struggle to build new homes and start farming livelihoods. Together with our other support comprising food, blankets and the construction of latrines, we provide them with solar lamps that have built-in radio. We started distribution with 20 families and this activity is continuing. The built-in radio enable the beneficiaries to listen to news especially about weather condition as weather is becoming less predictable by now.
Hoping for your continuing support to this project.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation providing much-needed power for off-grid communities. The solar lamp project is indeed very important since it provides light during the night for households without connection to the electric grid. They are able to do chores at night and the children who are schooling are able to study their lessons. This will give them advantage and will prepare them for a bright future. This reporting period we focus our effort to conduct assessment in a mountain village destroyed by Typhoon Tembin. The village lost their electricity and there is a dire need to provide them with light. After the assessment, we will provide solar lamps for the most needy families.
Again, thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
My warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project distributing solar lamps to off-grid communities. This initiative continue to provide much-needed benefit for very poor families who have no access to electricity as their children can study at night and they are able to do chores that otherwise they are unable to do if they have no light. Using also kerosene lamps is not healthy and children often get sick. This reporting period, we focus our support to large families where the husband is far away for work and only the mother and her children are left at home. The solar lamp is an added security for the home for them. We are able to distribute 75 solar lamps and this time we requested the families to repay the purchase amount in easy installment so that we can purchase additional lamps for other beneficiaries.
Again, thank you so much for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
