On June 29, 2018, ISCP visited the community of of Dusun Kinangkong Village Kuta Gajah ,Kutambaru District, Langkat regency of North Sumatra or is currently better known as tourist village Simolap marike. This village is directly adjacent to the Leuser National Park .

We are still in the process of approaching the communities of the above villages for the future to conduct wildlife awareness programs and the reforestation of ecotourism-based forest areas for their villages as well as "School Tree Planting and Nursery managed by junior high schools that will later be developed by ISCP in the area".

On last night's occasion we first approached the local by wisdom culture of Karo tribe and had to slowly approach the community leaders there as well as the OKP (youth organization) where the issue of an NGO friend who had entered the village failed due to misunderstanding with OKP local. For that ISCP trying to make a cultural approach to local wisdom so that later the conservation program can run well and safely in the village above ..

We are very grateful for the hospitality and natural discussions with local youth friends and local community leaders hopefully in Dusun kinangkong kuta gajah village, Kutambaru sub-district, Langkat regency of North Sumatra as part of the Gunung Leuser National Park . Hopefully this program plan in the future can run well later. Thanks also to all friends ISCP, Sahabat Kukang and all the friend donors who have taken part in donating in ISCP campaign "Help Us ... We Kukang Sumatra Need Medical Devices!" At GLOBAL GIVING.

In this info update we did not forget to attach the accidental vidio we saw slow loris on the village road of leuser area a wild loris passing through the village road and spontaneously we recorded it with vidio camera Hand Phone (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdNkgDJMcH8 ) ,as well as photo documentation of our visit in kinangkong village of kuta Gajah village, Kutambaru sub-district, Langkat regency of North Sumatra as part of the supporting village of Gunung Leuser National Park.

With respect from ISCP

We did not expect, that a female adult slow loris, that was sent by the Nature conservation agency, North Sumatra to ISCP for rehabilitation in October 2017, was pregnant. Last Saturday she gave birth to a young, that is in good and healthy condition at the ISCP rehabilitation centre.

Please support and assist us in rescuing slow lorises in Sumatra specially for manage the Slow Loris which confiscate in injured condition as we need help and donation urgent to fullfill the facilities and infrastructure of clinical medical equipment in ISCP.
