It was really appreciate for the community who report to ISCP volunteers where the woman kept a slow loris which is a protected animal and then it was forwarded to the BKSDA resort of Central Aceh. She has been keeping the slow loris for one week which she bought from a animal poacher.
The BKSDA Aceh Resort Takengon team together with the ISCP team also provided socialization to Linda and gave an understanding that these animals are protected by law and if in the future they repeat their actions, strict action will be taken or law enforcement in accordance with the Indonesian wildlife protection law. In the same day afternoon, the two slow lorises were released by the BKSDA team at the Aceh resort, accompanied by ISCP volunteers in the Takengon conservation forest area.
