Affected by covid-19, we encountered many difficulties in sending mental health curriculum kits. By making phone calls or sending messages one by one, we finally made sure that every teacher received the curriculum kits and could use them to teach rural students.
The courses have been carried out across the country. Under the guidance of their teachers, the children came up to the rostrum and actively shared their stories and feelings, through which they could explore themselves. If children are able to recognize and describe their personalities as well as thoughts, they will deal with their negative emotions in a more appropriate and effective way when faced with setbacks.
In addition, we conducted online training for rural teachers. We guided teachers on how to see the strengths of their students and how to motivate them to participate in the class. We also started a phone interview with rural teachers to follow up the situation of courses. So that we can ensure that the children are really being promoted and helped.
Thank you for all the donations and love. Despite such a difficult time, we are still striving to help rural children with mental health education.
