Completion of Safe drinking water station in Phulchoki English School
In Phulchoki English School, located in Badikhel, Godawari Municipality of Lalitpur district, the Nature Club students are producing chlorine solution in the school from the Mini WATA device provided by ECCA. This chlorine solution is then poured in the overhead water tank kept in the roof of the school building.
Previously, disinfected drinking water was filled in the bottles for drinking by the students, since the school lacked drinking water station (as the previous one was damaged by Nepal earthquake 2015). From ECCA support, the construction of safe drinking water station was recently completed. Now, students can easily drink disinfected water in groups.
Mr. Diwakar, Principal of the school has thanked all for the support.
We thank you for your support.
