Janajyoti Basic School, located in Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-5, Jhapa, Nepal approached ECCA for the construction of false ceiling in one of the school’s three-room building. The students were facing the problem of excessive heat inside classroom during summer due to metal roofing, since long time.
Now after the construction, the false ceiling has helped reduce the effect of heat from the roof, does not produce noise during rain, and has given a good appearance to the classroom.
“The students and teachers used to endure up to 40 degree Celsius during summer under zinc sheet roof. We requested the concerned authorities for help time and again, but there was no positive response. We thank ECCA for approving our proposal’’ a teacher said. The school is providing education to around 150 children.
We thank you for your support.
