Shree Thani Basic School, located in Guthitar village in Dhankuta district of eastern Nepal approached ECCA for supporting white board in each classroom as they were using black board. Chalk dust from excessive black board use was creating health risk for the teachers and the students. Now, after ECCA’s support of 10 white boards to the school, the classes have got rid of chalk dust and it has also added good appearance to the classrooms.
Ms. Limbu, Principal of the School shared, “the students and teachers used to endure the chalk dust and the use of chalk was also expensive. We requested the concerned authorities time and again, but there was no positive response. We thank ECCA for approving our proposal.”
We thank you for your support.
