Project Report | Dec 6, 2019
University Bound

By Karen Sparacio | Project Leader

Moris has always been an exceptional student.  Hard-working, focused, Moris knew he wanted a life that was different from his parents.  Without a formal education, his mom labors in a stone quarry while his father does carpentry work.  His parnts lacked the funds to pay his school fees, so Project Have Hope stepped in.

A graduate of our scholastic sponsorship program, Moris is now attending Uganda Technical College in Lira, in Northern Uganda, where he is studying water engineering.  He is hoping to learn practical skills which will enable him to improve the water quality and availability for his fellow Ugandans.  We're so proud of his accomplishments and his tenacity at striving to make his dreams a reality.  For just $25, you can help a young scholar fulfill his dreams.
