Meet Ritah.
I am 17 years old and am in Senior 3. I go to Our Lady of Consolata Secondary School and I am very proud of my school. We have good equipment in our science laboratory class and the teachers teach us very well. For fun I like to play netball. I dream of becoming a doctor because when I go to the clinic, I sympathize with the other patients I meet. I wish to be the solution to some of their problems.
Help Ritah and young scholars like her by becoming a sponsor for just $25 per month.

Meet Jane.
I am 16 years old and in Senior 4. I love going to school because it gives me a bright future and if I achieve, I will be able to help other people. I have many good friends in school who help me a lot. They help me to understand my lessons and teach me to play netball and to knit sweaters. Because my friends are from different tribes, they teach me how to co-operate with people who are different than me and help me to learn their languages.
My sister is an accountant. She inspires me because she is a good person. She is hard working and she helps many people. I want to be like her.
Help Jane, and children like her reach their full potential by becoming a sponsor for just $25 a month.

"I want to help my people."

"I want to help my people" are the words spoken by the children Project Have Hope enrolls in school. Growing up as children of displaced refugees in a slum outside of the capital, Kampala, these children know the harsh realities of poverty. By age 5, they were working in the dangerous conditions of the stone quarry, hoping to earn enough money for their next meal.
Through the support of dedicated donors, more than 100 children have had the opportunity to attend school.
"I feel encouraged to work even harder, because I have the opportunity [to go to school] that many do not have,” remarks Gloria. “Without schooling, my life would be very difficult... I would not have been able to know that I am a bright person."
Your donation gives children, like Gloria, the confidence and the self-worth that they would not otherwise have. Your donation of just $10 enables these children to dream and to secure the education that can make their dreams reality.
