Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank you for continuing to walk with us on the Safe Latrines for Rural Families journey. While we have not yet constructed an additional latrine since our last update, the project remains active and deeply important to us. We are committed to building safe, dignified sanitation facilities one family at a time, as funds become available.
In the coming period, we are preparing to construct 3–5 new latrines, depending on funding received. At the same time, we will use this quarter to visit the families who already received latrines, including Jennifer’s and Piloya’s families, to follow up on their wellbeing, assess usage, and ensure the facilities are serving them as intended. These visits help us strengthen accountability, learn from the families, and improve future construction.
This project is not a race—it is a long-term commitment to dignity, health, and safety for families who have lived too long without proper sanitation. Every donation received continues to be carefully stewarded, and each completed latrine represents lasting impact for an entire household for many years.
We are deeply grateful for your patience, trust, and continued support. Your generosity keeps this vision alive, and we look forward to sharing the next construction milestone with you soon.
With sincere appreciation,
Friends of Children Circle (FOCC) Uganda
