Trees Giving Cash crop for small land holders

AHD working with small land holders and about 500 small farmers planted trees on their lands, the farmers near Jati area coastal belt facing poverty and water shortage in past years, AHD mobilizes some 500 small farmers to plant trees on their lands and as per estimate these farmers planted Eucalyptus and Conocarpus Tree species on their lands, these trees grow faster and in 2-3 three years it give good income. As per one of farmer, He planted some 800 trees some 3 three years back and now he sold one tree in 600 Rs and total income he generated 480,000 PKR amount, this is great help and these trees again grow faster and wood same available in next 3 three years time.

AHD recommend other farmers to plant trees on their lands and earn handsome amount during crises times.

Fuel Efficient Cooking stove helping women in rural areas

AHD Model Fuel Efficient Cooking stove helping women in rural areas in all over Sindh and Pakistan hundreds of thousands families using this model and saved from smoke, eyes infections and other health issues, AHD helped hundreds of thousands families with installation of FES cooking stove.

During visits and survey fresh conducted in villages of Lower Sindh districts, it was seen that women learned and using this FES cooking stove since last 1 to 2 decades, many families  share that they make repair to their fuel efficient cooking stove by monthly basis as it give pleasures and smoke free cooking environment to their whole families.

Some 155 New fuel efficient cooking stove prepared and installed by rural families in different villages of Sujawal and Badin districts.
