AHD efforts to help poor farming communities towards adopt forestry planting, water conservation as well as fruit trees and valuable tress planting on their agricultural lands. AHD working in rural areas of lower Sindh and targeting rural areas of Hyderabad, Tando M. Khan, Sujawal, Badin and Thatta districts, where majority of populations engaged in farming profession since their forefathers but now through the awareness and mobilization farmers adopted the new techniques of water conservation as well as tree plantation.

AHD next plans to make trainings of some 100 more farmers and help them to adopt tree plantation as well as water conservation for their lands.

Reduction in Gas emissions Via AHD Fuel Efficient Cooking Stove & Environment Protection

AHD working hard to bring sustainable solution to the rural poor communities in Pakistan and Kenya, since 2003-2004 AHD reached more than 80,000 families in Pakistan with safe cooking stoves and women in all over Sindh now using AHD model Fuel Efficient Cooking stove and saving their children and women from smoke diseases and enjoying smoke free cooking technology.

AHD helped some 10 new villages with 135 new construction cooking stove and the please or next quarter is some 250 new cooking stove installation in rural villages.
