PROJECT REPORT.
October 10, 2011
80 Cataract Patients were selected in 3 Eye camps held in remote villages in the months of August and September, 2011. Cataracts were removed from these patients successfully through manual Phaco Surgery conducted at our own hospital (Karmirhath Hospital).
These poor patients have been suffering from ‘blindness’ for a few years. Because of their financial inability, they did not visit any eye hospital for treatment. They are detected and picked up at eye camps for operations at the hospital. These people are now leading normal lives taking care of their dependents. They express their gratitude to those donors who made the operations happen.
