NALIAKA'S HOPE RESTORED
By LUCAS FWAMBA | Project Manager
She is a form one student in one of the local secondary school. She leaves with her old grandmother in a small house since her childhood. Her parents abandoned her after birth. She has been raised by her grandmother until now. Her grandmother works in people’s homes doing cleanliness and other home chores so that she can get money for food and her grandchild school fees. She has only managed to pay part of her school fees being left with huge balance. The girl was sent away home to bring fees but she never came back to school until we came to her rescue of bringing her her back. She was almost dropping out of school.
As Juhudi children we felt so touched with her story and we promised her that we will support her by paying her school fees. We also talk to the head teacher of the school and agreed on the mode of payment of the fees. We believe that the girl will be able to study without any difficulties on matters of fees and other personal effects. We always believe that education is the only key to conquer poverty. Investing in education in the only way of uplifting the community. I want to thank our donors for supporting us all through this initiative. May God bless you abundantly.

It was a great joy when Sharon received good news that she will be joining form one soon. She had stayed home for two months since form one admission ended. Her mother was not able to pay for her school fees, since the only thing she would afford was shelter and food. Sharon had scored 257 marks out of 500. As Juhudi children we came to rescue the girl after visiting the school she was admitted but she went back home until she pays fees then she will be allowed in the class. The principal told us about the girl performance and how she has stayed home for long time because of lack of school fees. We agreed with the principal to support the girl until she completes her high school education. We us Juhudi we were very happy for her and we look forward to continue supporting her education up to the higher level. She is now catching up with others and she doing very well according to her mid-term exams. She is a bright student and ready to learn. She dreams to change the lives of her family and herself by working hard in school. As an organization we will be hand in hand by ensuring the girl has pursued her education well. We therefore urge our able donors and well wishers to continue supporting us so that we reach more girls who are bright but they stay home due to lack of school fees. They are at risks of becoming teenage mothers. Education is the only thing that will change their lives and become the change makers of the community.

A smile of the year
By Lucas | Project Manager
It is with great trust and hopes that we have managed to support girls who were at risk, to get access to education this year. As we are remaining with a few days to end the year, we won’t be ashamed and delayed to mention the powerful and great achievements that we have made. Nekesa is one of our girls that we shared her story and support. We are proud that Nekesa managed to sit for her final exam. Destiny and Chebo are among the many girls that are still looking for our support in the course of next year.
As we are sharing the positive impact that was spearhead by our organization’s passionate volunteers with many great donors and well-wishers we hope that we will make 2019 a smiling year for many needy girls in the region. We are humbled by the devote donors who always support our work. As we are coming to the end of this year, we always count on you and your kind support. We look forward to changing a life and be part of the journey that we do and always walk.
