We hope that you had a lovely Christmas and Festive Season?
We can’t believe that another year has come to an end, but here it is! We are excited for 2022 and hope that many of our plans that had to be put on hold will finally come to fruition. These include our plans to raise the remainder of our buildings that lie too low and are susceptible to flooding; completing our puppy isolation unit; and building and equipping our laboratory.
Our animal rescue work continues, whatever is going on elsewhere, and we have experienced some of our busiest ever times in the last half of 2021. In August, September, and October we admitted 1,612 sick and injured animals to our hospital as well as providing 2,171 treatments to animals on the street.
In 2022 we also want to improve our services by updating our ambulance vehicles to provide the best possible service to the animals in need. There is a lot to do and organise, but we are feeling positive for the future. As these photos show – the animals always lead the way and inspire us in our work. We are thankful that our supporters, like you, believe in our work and help us to achieve these amazing results for the animals who have no one else.
Thank you and best wishes for the New Year!
