Project Report | Jul 13, 2026
2026 mid year overview

By Chloe Liu | Executive Director

This project has been running for several years, yet its appeal to past funding partners has gradually waned. On one hand, the issue of equitable education—while vital—often carries less emotional or moral urgency compared to causes like treating critical illnesses or disaster relief. On the other hand, demonstrating the project's impact requires time to mature, making its charitable "ROI"(return on investment) less immediately eye-catching.

Amidst the hectic pace of daily life, we observe that social resources—and public attention in particular—often bypass the issue of equitable education for school-aged children in economically underdeveloped regions. As an organization dedicated to equitable education and the well-being of children, we strive to be their voice. We aim to highlight their desire not to be left behind by technological and social progress, bringing this need to the attention of the business community and the general public.

This summer, as typhoons swept from the coast to the interior, they also brought with them the seeds of a new initiative: educational content on child safety and self-protection. Over the next six months, we will launch a picture-book reading program focused on safety and self-protection for children in economically underdeveloped inland areas—communities not reached by our previous projects. Our plan includes recruiting and training volunteers in the third quarter (Q3), producing and delivering multimedia reading courseware in September and October, and distributing reading materials in the fourth quarter (Q4). We also intend to organize visits to project schools where volunteer representatives can conduct in-person, interactive reading sessions.

If you would like to join us in directing public attention toward the issue of equitable education for disadvantaged children, please support our cause. We welcome your involvement, whether through financial contributions or by volunteering your time and voice.

Be the Change, Volunteer!
