Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to share our fourth report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide quality education to 300 children in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
Azad India Foundation is running learning centers in the selected villages of the district of Kishanganj, with 8 teachers and 213 children studying in different levels under Primary Education program.
Post Bihar elections and festive season children are now attending classes regularly. Many adolescent girls also attend the classes who never went to school or are dropouts. The use of TLMs and activities make learning easy for these children.
Unfortunately we are not getting any donations for last couple of months making it difficult for us to run the centers. It is the commitment of the teachers and community members that is running this program.
Do contribute to help us keep these disadvantaged children into the education program. We would be grateful if you can spread the word. We really need support to continue this program.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or ideas at aif_org@yahoo.co.in
Warm Regards,
