Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to share our second report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide quality education to 300 children in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
Azad India Foundation is running learning centers in the selected villages of the district of Kishanganj, with 10 teachers and 350 children enrolled under Primary Education program.
We follow the state government syllabus up to class V at the learning centers, to help children join the mainstream education. The methodology of teaching and learning is different from normal regular schools keeping in mind the need of the children of this area. Some of the children go school in the morning and attend learning center in the afternoon.
Despite the fact that it is farming season in the villages children attend classes regularly.Azad India Foundation conducts monthly tests for the children through different means such as oral, board work, worksheets and games etc. and competencies are marked accordingly. Many activities are conducted to develop reading and writing skills of the children.
We are grateful to all our donors for their generous contributions. Do contribute to help us bring more disadvantaged children into the education program and please spread the word. We really need support to continue this program.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or ideas at aif_org@yahoo.co.in
Warm Regards,
Yuman
