Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to share our third report via Global Giving on the progress of our project to provide quality education to 300 children in Kishanganj district of Bihar.
Azad India Foundation is running learning centers in the selected villages of the district of Kishanganj, with 8 teachers and 250 children under Primary Education program. Despite the fact that it is monsoon season children attend classes regularly. Many activities are planned to retain the interest of the children.The methodology of teaching and learning is different from normal regular schools keeping in mind the need of the children of this area.The learning centers also provide remedial classes to the students enrolled in formal school also.
Unfortunately, we are not getting any donations for last couple of months making it difficult for us to run the centers. It is the commitment of the teachers and community members that is helping us in running this program.
Do contribute to help us keep these disadvantaged children into the education program. We would be grateful if you can spread the word. We really need support to continue this program.
