PUT UP HEALTH FACILITY IN ZAMBULKURA FOR 10,000 PEOPLE (54492)
We write to update our donors, GlobalGiving Team, and to all our supporters on Project 54492 ‘Put up a Health Facility in Zambulkura for 10,000 people’ by Rescue and Restore Hope Zambulkura Ghana (RRHZ). Construction of our 40-bed capacity health facility and health workers residence in Zambulkura is progressing steadily. The roofing of the structures is about 80% done, and we are currently working on the ceiling. The next stage will be plumbing works, getting source of power, that is electricity to the facility which is very important. The next most critical need at this stage is acquiring medical equipment including Laboratory equipment, furniture, beds, mattresses, computers, printers, delivery bed among others. Though donations of funds through GG towards construction of the facility is minimal, donation from elsewhere has made it possible for us to continue the construction to this stage. We are grateful to GG Team and the doners who supported by donating towards the building of the facility to help address the health needs of the communities. We are seeking partnerships with Organizations, Philanthropies, and individuals interested in supporting deprived rural communities to help us acquire the needed equipment for the facility. Our initial target was to complete the building of the facility and open for operation by the end of first quarter 2025, however, due to lack of equipment we will not be able to meet the first quarter 2025 date, but rather we are hoping that we get support to acquire the medical equipment by mid-year of 2025 to open the facility for operation.
We appreciate all our donors and GlobalGiving Team for their great support.
