PUT UP HEALTH FACILITY IN ZAMBULKURA FOR 10,000 PEOPLE (54492)

Report on Project 54492 ‘Put up a Health Facility in Zambulkura for 10,000 people’ by Rescue and Restore Hope Zambulkura Ghana (RRHZ).  We have raised funds and continued the construction of the 40-bed capacity health facility in Zambulkura which is now at the stage for roofing. The funds raised for the construction will complete the building but what is needed next is funds to acquire medical equipment including Laboratory equipment, furniture, beds, mattresses, computers, printers , delivery bed  among  others.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               RRHZ appreciates our donors and the ever-supportive GlobalGiving team for the support. Though donations of funds through GG towards construction of the facility is very, very minimal donation from elsewhere has made it possible for us to continue the construction. Nevertheless, we are grateful to GG Team and the doners who supported by donating towards the building of the facility through GG. In seeking to help address the health needs of the communities, during this peak rainy season with high cases of malaria, we are mobilizing antimalaria medicines to carry out malaria outreach activities in the communities by middle November 2024. We are seeking partnerships with Organizations, Philanthropies, and individuals interested in supporting deprived rural communities to help us acquire the needed equipment for the facility. Our target is to complete the building of the facility and open for operation by the end of first quarter 2025

PUT UP HEALTH FACILITY IN ZAMBULKURA FOR 10,000 PEOPLE (54492) Rescue and Restore Hope Zambulkura Ghana’s (RRHZ) report on Project 54492 ‘Put up a Health Facility in Zambulkura for 10,000 people’. We have just received some small funding to continue the construction of the health facility in Zambulkura since the construction works was stopped in 2020 due to lack of funding. Though the funds we received is not sufficient to complete the building nevertheless it is one step closer to our goal of completing the project. The NGO believes raising funds for the construction of the facility is still relevant, as it will help to provide critical services such as antenatal services, maternal and child healthcare services, treatment of injuries and many more. It is anticipated that after completion of the construction and starting to operate 24 hours it will also serve as immunization center, health education and handle emergencies. RRHZ appreciates our donors and the ever-supportive GlobalGiving team for the support. With the small funding we received, the building activities will resume soon, and we will have something better to report on at our next report. As an NGO seeking to help address the health needs of the communities, we are currently carrying out malaria outreach activities in the communities, testing the communities’ members of malaria and treating those who test positive for the malaria disease as a temporary measure, whilst seeking partnerships with Organizations, Philanthropies, and individuals interested in supporting deprived rural communities to help us complete the health facility we started in 2020.
