PUT UP HEALTH FACILITY IN ZAMBULKURA FOR 10,000 PEOPLE (54492)
Update to our donors, and GlobalGiving Team by Rescue and Restore Hope Zambulkura Ghana(RRHZ), on Project 54492 ‘Put up a Health Facility in Zambulkura for 10,000 people. Construction of our 40-bed capacity health facility and health workers residence in Zambulkura is at the completion stage. The roofing of the structures is done, and we are currently working on the ceiling. The plumbing works, mobilizing funds to drill a borehole, and acquiring a water storage tank for the facility, and getting source of electricity power is critical to the facility. Other critical needs at this stage is getting medical equipment such as Laboratory equipment, furniture, beds, mattresses, computers, printers, delivery bed and many more. We are grateful to GG Team and the doners for their donations towards the building of the facility to help address the health needs of the communities. We are still seeking partnerships with Organizations, Philanthropies, and individuals interested in supporting deprived rural communities to help us acquire the needed equipment for the facility.
We have put in application for Linces at the Health Facilities Regulatory Authority, the mandated Authority to come for inspection of the facility and issuance of Linces to enable us to operate as a health facility, but they are yet to come for the inspection. This has also contributed to the delay in opening the facility for operation. Another reason for the delay is the lack of equipment. All these factors will cause us not to be able to meet the opening date of third quarter 2025. We are hoping that we get support to acquire the medical equipment, and the Linces by the last quarter of 2025 or the latest first quarter of 2026 to open the facility for operations.
Thanks to our donors and GlobalGiving Team for the support.
