Project supports our independent media outlets, media-partners of Charity Foundation "Democratic Society", that provides objective and vital information to the communities, especially those suffering from Russia's invasion. Funding provides to our media organizations that conduct training on journalism.

In the war between Russia and Ukraine, journalists are vigorously fighting on the information front. Our information is honest information.
We are presented with news from various spheres of life, and simple readers were the first to know about the most important things.  Our media highlight the life of Ukrainian youth. .

During the war, our media does not use advertizing. Media are actively fighting the enemy on the information front: on the website and in social media. Charity Foundation Democratic Society supports the fight of media.
Media activity in Ukraine has never been so important. Our correspondents work tirelessly, journalists fight on the information front - with the help of news, texts, posts on social networks, streams on YouTube, etc.

The work of a journalist in wartime is difficult and responsible. Journalists must adhere to safety rules and ethical principles; they perform difficult and responsible work professionally and effectively.

The work of journalists during war is always fraught with difficulties and dangers; journalists have to work in unfavorable conditions, face danger and overcome it.

In their work in wartime, journalists must ensure the safety of their activities and have everything necessary to ensure their safety, including a first aid kit and communications equipment.

Press must have the resources to work.

In order for the newspaper to expand the circle of its readers, support for the development of the newspaper is needed to make it better, so that journalists are motivated to work at full strength.

Currently, during the war, not all advertising products can be advertised, so now there is a shortage in funds.

During the war, all state financial resources, as well as the funds of the population, are directed towards producing and purchasing of weapons to defend ourselves for surviving, for military personnel, participating in hostilities, creating a gigantic shortage of funds for refugees and all the civilians.

Our Foundation helps independent mass media and our correspondents have a support in work.

The project support our media, partners of our CF "Democratic Society", one of which is a newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".

Our newspaper "Ukrainian Youth" is read by officials of Ukraine, people's deputies, youth, ordinary people.

Our newspaper provides objective and important information to communities, especially those affected by Russian invasion. It is also supports our media organizations, which stimulate the improvement of professional skills of journalists, cyber and physical safety of journalists, as well as the explaining to journalists their rights and their protection during war.

We support our mass media, which is now in a bad situation during military operations.

Journalists of our editorial office work non-stop in order for our readers to learn the most up-to-date information in the period of war in Ukraine as quickly as possible.

Journalists work with published only true and verified information. Our journalists defend freedom of speech and democratic values.
Project helps to provide the resources to work for our journalists, for the implementation of freedom of transport movement of our journalists, for conducting interviews, attending press-conferences, covering important events, posting articles, purchasing gadgets and journalists equipment. With true and verified information, we don't give invaders a chance in the newsroom of the battle. To resist any kind of propaganda, we support our journalists.

To help media in our country, to help children of refugees to continue getting higher education, develop journalism among children of the refugees, our foundation provides activity in the organization of free tutoring, free practice for students, free internships for students of higher educational institutions in the specialty "journalism", introduction of non-formal education in educational institutions, based on human rights principles, holding cultural and integration events.

Charity Foundation "Democratic Society" provides projects to help students - children of refugees from the war in the journalistic speciality, a project of an aid to the main base for free internship - to our newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".

Internship is included in the process of studying students at universities, and the organization of this internship, tuition, also requires funds.

So in that period we continued to provide aid and support of our media - the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".

The vision of the Charity Foundation Democratic Society is to unite people in Ukraine and abroad around the idea of supporting the students from Ukraine, especially children of refugees. In 2024 we worked with students of the largest Ukrainian Universities organizing free internship in the speciality "Journalizm" to form a community of friends, establishing connections with alumni, businesses, civic organizations, and professional journalists.

Throughout the year, the Foundation team, in collaboration with the largest Ukrainian Universities, conducted work, coordinating fundraising and implementing key projects.

New members joined the Foundation, enhancing organizational capacity and invigorating work in various directions.

Foundation team members now is undergoing training in courses of UK Educational organisation, such as Ligtful, on fundraising, project management, copyright, communication in wartime conditions, and more.

We thank colleges and volunteers, GlobalGiving, Friends of our Foundation, donors, members, and other supporters for sharing their resources of time and treasure to assist us in making year progressive.

The project helps to solve the problem of lack of finance resorses to provide Ukraine with the specialists with higher for rebuildiing of country after the war.

2024 is a year, troubling and tragic: now our country is engulfed in the fire of war.
Cruise missiles, drones Shaheds, fired by the Russian military troops, have killed and are now killing civilians, fall on the ukrainian peaceful homes destroying everything in many Ukrainian cities and towns, forcing refugees to seek safe places in other regions
and countries.

As a result of missile and air strikes on peaceful civilian houses, all the money of the refugee families remains under the ruins of the houses.

Due to the ongoing full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, many Ukrainian families have found themselves in a difficult situation, some of them have become refugees They cannot provide that their children continue getting higher education in higher
educational institutions.

To help students - children of the refugees our foundation provides activity in the educational directions: the organization of free tutoring, free practice for students, free internships for students of higher educational institutions in the specialty "journalism", introduction of non-formal education in educational institutions, based on human rights principles, holding cultural and integration events.
It is the activities of education that provide tools for change, solving local problems.
We are also communicating with the leadership at the local and national levels.

We are working on problem how to help students - children of refugees from the war, how to give an aid to the main base for free internship in the journalistic speciality of such students - to our newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".

By helping the Ukrainians, we are also helping the American people in order to preserve democratic values and prevent the world from sliding into the chaos of a world war.

During the Russian-Ukrainian war many cities of Ukraine and many industries are destroyed. There is a shortage of professionals with higher education to take part and help in the rebuilding of the country Ukraine.
The project helps to additionally solve the problem of lack of resources to provide Ukrainian students with the possibility of continuing of higher education to become specialists for rebuilding and renewing of country after the war.
To help children of the refugees our foundation provides activity in the educational directions: free tutoring, free practice for students, free internships for students of higher educational institutions in the specialty "journalism", introduction of non-formal education in educational institutions, based on human rights principles, holding cultural and integration events.
Education is essential, humanitarian action in any conflict must be comprehensive and that it is the activities of education that provide tools for change, solving difficult problems.
Charity Foundation "Democratic Society " has projects to help students - children of refugees from the war, a project of aid for free internships on the main base - the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".
Our foundation's newspaper, called "Ukrainian Youth" provides free internships of students of Ukrainian universities in the specialty "Journalism".
Internship is included in the process of studying students at universities, and the organisation of this internship, tuition, also requires funds.
We organize work on teaching students how to write journalistic articles, journalistic work, receiving and processing journalistic materials. We are engaged in tutoring and as a result, professional growth is noticed in students.
The main thing is the material and financial provision of student's tutoring and internships.
We try to provide aid and support of the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth", which is the mean of media of the Charity Foundation "Democratic Society" in which tutoring and training of students is providing.
Our newspaper, called "Ukrainian Youth" simultaneously with informing our people also provides free internships for students of Ukrainian universities in the speciality
"Journalism".
Internship is included in the process of studying and tutoring students most children
of refugees, at universities.
We were providing aid and support of the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth", which is the main
means of media of the Charitable Foundation "Democratic Society" in which tutoring and
training of students is providing.
Payment of rent, telephone, Internet, transport to supply freedom of moving of our
volunteers, students, journalists, electricity, rooms for the employees of the
foundation, medicine for the treatment of employees and those who need it.
Provision of the office with stationery and other supplies, gadgets for work, other
equipment, provision of printing materials, printing of certificates on student
internships, renovation of editorial office of newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".
Payment for food, representative expenses, working trips.
Provision of information and advertising services for finding students who need
internship.
In addition, funds were needed to repair the office of our Foundation, which was fired
upon by the Russian troops during air raids.

In our work we hope for help of donors.
Without the help of donors, we will not be able to carry out our statutory functions.
That's why in our work our charity organisation rely on the donations of those, who care.
Donations are needed to help students, to pay tutors, journalists for their educational
work with students.
Charity Foundation "Democratic Society" 's work is being possible due to our generous
donors. Their gifts today helps us eliminate barriers so every student can pursue their
dreams.

Now we are currently working with companies and individuals to help them decide to
donate to our projects of helping refugees.

Now we have contacted potential donors, we are working with them, and this gives a
result.
We were doing all in our power for realisations of our project.

We are expected that process of realisation of projects will be more intensive.
Also sufficient for work amounts of funds must be reserved for planned activities of
Charity Foundation "Democratic Society".
