Providing scolarships for students from Ukraine

The full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is currently ongoing. Russian missile and drone attacks on civilians continue. Families suffer from bombing by Russian troops, as a result of Russian strikes on power plants, electricity supply disappears for a long time, there is no heating on frosty days, it is impossible to use computers, the Internet, especially young people, students who are currently studying in Ukrainian higher educational institutions are suffering. They are forced to miss classes or acquire knowledge remotely. The Democratic Society Charitable Foundation is trying to help Ukrainian students studying at journalism faculties, our foundation conducts internships, official journalistic practice in cooperation with university deans, we officially provide internship places for students, future journalists, in our media "Ukrainian Youth", we place articles by student journalists.

Students, refugee children undergo internships, quite a wide geography of residence, in different corners of Ukraine, due to the fact that the war, now they practically do not get together so often, the internship is carried out remotely. Interns train in writing articles, also write about gender equality, about participation in the volunteer movement during the war. The editorial staff of our media selects, including from among refugee families, candidates for internships, provides conditions for internships, hosting, a platform for posting articles, our tutors advise on how best to prepare and write.

We organize work on teaching students how to write journalistic
articles, journalistic work, receiving and processing journalistic
materials. We are engaged in tutoring and as a result, professional
growth is noticed in students.
The main thing is the material and financial provision of student's
tutoring and internships.
We try to provide aid and support of the newspaper "Ukrainian Youth",
which is the mean of media of the Charity Foundation "Democratic
Society" in which tutoring and training of students is providing.
Internship is included in the process of studying and tutoring
students most children
of refugees, at universities.

Payment of rent, telephone, Internet, transport to supply freedom of
moving of our
volunteers, students, journalists, electricity, rooms for the employees of the
foundation, medicine for the treatment of employees and those who need it.
Provision of the office with stationery and other supplies, gadgets
for work, other
equipment, provision of printing materials, printing of certificates on student
internships, renovation of editorial office of newspaper "Ukrainian Youth".
Payment for food, representative expenses, working trips.
Provision of information and advertising services for finding students who need
internship.
