Greetings amazing supporters,

As you know for 20 years, we have been dedicated to promoting a more sustainable and human-centered approach to production and consumption through our fair trade work. However, we are currently facing our toughest season yet. Decreased global sales, rising inflation in Ghana, and water shortages are just a few of the significant issues affecting the livelihoods of the Mamas and their families. Our goal is to maintain employment for all the Mamas and provide them with adequate training to help them achieve prosperity.

Your continued support during this crucial time is helping us provide sustainable, fairly compensated work to more than 300 women. We'll launch our Giving Tuesday Initiative through GlobalGiving in the next few weeks. This will be a fantastic opportunity for you to see your support increased through bonus funds available through GlobalGiving. Our hope through this initiative and going forward is to maintain work for the Mamas and provide transportation to and from work for the Mamas located in the Fair Trade Zone, water storage equipment to assist batikers during water shortages, and financial training and health screenings for all locations.

We are committed to our mission, and with your amazing support, we know that we can make it happen. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to the Mamas. We hope you’ll join us for Giving Tuesday.

Medaase Pa,
Team Global Mamas
