SARASWATI, 12 years old of Class-5 having serious abdominal pain. During health investigation of her USG, IVU,KUB, MCUG X-Rays and urine tests were done. From all investigations, it diagnosed that SARASWATI has 1.4* 1.0 CM sized kidney stone on her left kidney. Doctor has advised that , in the case of children , the stone size is big and hence it should be removed from operation. So, on 20 Feb, Doctor will fix the operation date to Saraswati. We heartily THANKS to ANN for your love and covering all treatment expenses to Saraswati and also thanks to Leila for managing this fund and visiting many times at hospital.
We are so glad to share the Educational Progress of our Orphans and Abandoned Children they obtained in their 3rd -Unit-Exam of Feb. They all achieved Grade -A+ and Grade-A . A big congratulations to you all girls for your wonderful Results:
DOLMA, Class-2 received GPA-4.00 and Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.( i.e. 100% marks on all subjects)
PEMBA, Class-1 received GPA-4.00 and Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.( i.e. 100% marks on all subjects)
SUSMITA, Class-1 received GPA-4.00 and Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.( i.e. 100% marks on all subjects)
DURGA, Class-3 received GPA-3.96 and Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.
SRIJANA, Class-UKG received Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.
SABITA, Class-Nursery received Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
SARASWATI, Class-5 received GPA-3.48 and Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
RANI (PRIYA), Class-7 received GPA-3.43 and Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
ANJU, Class-6 received GPA-3.23 and Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
Children has participated on Educational Tours organized by their school. Sabita,Class-Nursery and Srijana, Class-UKG has visited Chobhar. Dolma, Class-2, Pemba and Susmita, Class-1 has visited Tribhuwan Park. Simialrly, Durga, Class-3, Saraswati,Class-5, Anju Class-6 and Priya,Class-7 has observed Godawari botanical garden. Our Care-giver Jamuna has accompanied the Tours.
Christmas, new year eve and Saraswati pooja were celebrated with great joy at child-home and in their school too.
Happy Birthday of Pemba and Srijana is celebrated with beautiful Birthday cakes and dinner. All the children sang Birthday songs which made the moments wonderful. Thank you Leila and Suresh for your presence and providing lovely Birthday Gifts .
We have actively participated on a Legal and Financial Procedure Workshop to child homes organized by Central Children Welfare Board and Children’s Homes Federation Nepal.
Children actively helped to make display board at Child-Home with children’s name, class, photo, educational certificates and extra curricular certificates individually so that everyone can observe the progress of each student at a glance.
We thanks to Dr. Laxman Shrestha(MD) for conducting regular health check up of all the children at child home.
We would like to extend our heartiest Thanks to dear friend ANN for your love ,kindness and donating Electric Heater to Child Home through Leila. Children enjoyed a lot with warm heater during cold winter. We are always grateful to dear Leila, Suresh for your love and kindness and donating 11 warm Jackets, beautiful dolls to all children and Jamuna. All the children and Jamuna has participated on wedding ceremony of Samita+Mahesh. Children danced a lot and enjoyed with delicious dinner party at weeding . Arjun and family has donated 10 sets of Jackets and pants during the great occasion of Arjun’s Birthday. We wish a very happy birthday to you! Similarly, Federation of Nepal Books and Stationery donated 9 Blankets to our children. Our great thanks goes to you all.
During this period , we paid monthly tution fee of $ 460, , House rent paid $480, fooding cost paid $300.

Dear friends, from the love and support from all of you, our hopes are sprouting and getting encouragement to protect more needy children and run the orphanage sustainably. But, due to the highly increasing market price day by day, it is being hard to provide the fundamental needs to our orphans and abandoned children.
