“When DOLMA was studying on her Class-2, we were permitted to visit her class. The class teacher showed us the ARTS WORKS and Drawings posted on wall. Teacher told us these Arts were posted to demonstrate to other children. Teacher added , DOLMA is a well disciplined and talented student who received Grade Point Average 3.75 and Average Grade A+ with OUTSTANDING performance and help to learn to her friends too” !
We are so glad to share the Progress of our Orphans and Abandoned Children they obtained in their 1st-Unit-Exam:
SRIJANA, class-ukg, SUSMITA and PEMBA , class-1 received GPA-3.85 and Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.
DOLMA, Class-2 received GPA-3.75 and Average Grade-A+ with Outstanding performance.
SARASWATI, class-5 received GPA-3.60 and Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
DURGA, class-3 received GPA-3.50 and Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
PRIYA, class-7 and ANJU, class-6 received GPA-3.37 and Average Grade-A with Excellent performance.
SABITA, class-NURSERY is sweet, disciplined and cooperative child.
We have organized an observation tour to Jalpa Agriculture Development Garden to equip our children on the method of different vegetable production. Happiness can be seen on the eyes of the children when they saw the vegetable farm.
All the children have received Smart-Identity-Card from their school so that it is being easier to communicate between school and parents. Now, the children have excess to get notice, results, assignment etc on their internet account.
Children Homes Federation Nepal has conducted one day Psycho-Social-Counseling at our-child- home using various refreshing methods.
Children celebrated RAKSHYA-BANDHAN( binding the sacred thread on wrist) festivals with joy. They also participated on the feast of TEEJ festival and they sang the TEEJ songs and danced happily with the community women.
JAMUNA , care-giver of the child-home received tailoring training. So, we have managed a Sewing Machine at child-home where our children would have facility to stitch their clothes as and when needed.
During the 4th-Annivarsary of SDO-Nepal we have presented an APPRECIATION-CERTIFICATE to all our respected donors and supporters on their great contribution and love.
SDO-Nepal has conducted it’s 4th-Annual-General-Meeting on 14 Aug on the great presence of governmental officials, school principal, advisors, life time members, well wishers and children. The AGM passed the financial and annual progress of past Fiscal Year and the budget and program for coming Fiscal year.
We have participated on coordination workshop on “ child protection from violence, exploitation and abuse” organized by Central Children Welfare Board and Nepal Police-Head office.

We including all children have participated on the lovely wedding Ceremony of Leila/ Suresh at Thamel. Thank you friend for your great invitation, love and support to these children. We wish for your happy marriage life. We are really thankful for the great visit and love of Leila, Suresh, Jan and Tony. Thank you Ramsaran family for donating food stuffs on the memory of your late-father. We are indebted with you all beloved friends for your love, inspiration and support to ensure the lives of these children. THANK YOU ALL!!
Dear friends, from the love and support from all of you, our hopes are sprouting and getting encouragement to protect more needy children and run the orphanage sustainably. But, due to the highly increasing market price, it is being hard to provide the fundamental needs to our orphans and abandoned children.
