United for Colombia medical and comprehensive rehabilitation program´s encompasses orthopedic care, reconstructive surgeries, and psychological counseling.
Once rehabilitated, we encourage our beneficiaries to pursue a sport to allow them to rebuild their path to a meaningful life with a purpose. Many of them become runners and handcyclist. We are proud to say that we even have beneficiaries on the Colombian Paralympic Team.
As the COVID 19 pandemia has postponed all sport events, UFC has encouraged their beneficiaries to keep practicing sports and sponsored their participation in the two main virtual athletic competitions in Colombia: 10K race in Bogotá and Half Marathon in Medellin.
Through the generous donors like you, we are able to sponsor high-endurance prosthesis, sports equipment and virtual marathon registrations for our admirable athletes who are living proof that a disability is not an obstacle for a great triumph!
