We have started implementing our MEI (Integral School Model) in middle schools, more than 2 years ago. We have worked tireslessly in implementing Gender Equity in every single program that our specialists, along with our school coordinators impart.
An example of this effort could be seen in the socio - emotional group of conferences imparted in May in the Public Middle School where we initiated our "MEI 4 Middle Schools Program". All our workshops and conferences had a Gender Equity emphasis, an exampla might be the conference imparted on May 27th: "From Toxic Dependence to finding a healthy equilibrium in Love: Construction of healthy relationships". This was a conference specially designed to guide young students in their personal relationships, with a special focus in inclusivity, gender equity and tolerance. This conferences were imparted to 56 students in the "Emma Goldman High School" in Ecatepec, State of Mexico.
Gender Equity is an essential part of every program we impart. Our Huamn Development and Prevention Line of Action within our Integral School Model (MEI), has Gender Equity approaches inclluded in every workshop and conference that our specialists impart in the public elementary and middle schools that PROED accompanies.
