During this first semester of 2025 we have been implementing our I Decide program to promote Gender Equity nin Public Elementary Schools in 11 states of the Mexican Republic.
Our I Decide program has been a crucial cornerstone to our promotion of emotional strength and gender equity for boys and girls, helping them with healthy decision making.
During this first semester we trained 4th and 5th grade teachers in 16 schools in Mexico City, Michoacán and Zacatecas. With this "I Decide Teacher training", teachers will be able to implement this program within their classrooms.
We have also trained 10 teachers from Michoacán on our NEPSO Program which propels students to create a project that will benefit their communities and participate in a state championship where the best project will be implemented. This program allows girls to develop their research, writing, speech and oratory abilities in a way their self esteem and their self perception will start to develop, so that they can pursue their active participation in community matters as they become responsible active citizens of their communities.
Teachers are part of our School Community (teachers, students and parents). So it is crucial that we work with them, their training and preparation for certain projects that our specialists implement makes them better prepared to promote and implement Gender Equity in their classrooms everyday.
