We are looking forward to beginning trainings on food security in the near future. So far, we have raised just $30, but once we have enough funds, we are very excited to start work on this pressing issue. Currently in rural Uganda, poor farming techniques degrade much of the soil, leaving it infertile for future growing seasons. By teaching farmers about crop rotation, mulching, digging draining channels and other improved techniques, we can help them dramatically increase their output. Additionally, many farmers aren't aware of how to save crops or funds for seasons when there are little output. We plan to teach them the business and planning skills needed to ensure they have enough income and food to last their families the whole year. Thank you for your ongoing support!
