Dear GlobalGiving Donors and Supporters;
Warmest greetings from Yemen. Support Yemeni Society Organization and all targeted beneficiaries send you their thanks and appreciation for supporting the Prevention of COVID-19 in Yemen Project, especially during these difficult and hard situations and times.
The bad news is that Doctors without Borders Organization warned against new waves of the spread of the Coronavirus in Yemen.
The number of reported cases infected with the new Coronavirus in Yemen is fearful. War, poverty, blockage of airports, and lack of awareness are reasons for the spread of the pandemic.
This is the second stage of implementing this project. In the first stage, SYS Organization with support of GlobalGiving and your donations covered a wide range of vulnerable Yemeni people. We distributed more than 1200 hygiene kits. Again, we did it! This time, with your donations we targeted poor displaced female teachers in Bani AlHareth District, Sana'a.
To be honest, Yemen still needs more and more help. Therefore, your donations make an impact. Together we will contribute to preventing this dangerous pandemic in Yemen, and will continue implementing this project.
We warmly invite you to start a monthly donation. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. This is the best way to ensure an ongoing impact. Please, also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
Looking forward to seeing your support.
Best regards.
Yours,
Ahmed Al-Qadhi
