Role Plays on Community Health and Sanitation
Role Plays on Community Health and Sanitation

Thanks for continuing to support PEP and our work with education in Pakistan!

In March, the PEP Monitoring Team surveyed the work of our new hand pumps and washrooms for our Community Led Total Sanitation Program (CLTS) in 38 of our schools. We also evaluated the children's knowledge of health and open defection. Our Community Awareness Programme performed role plays about sanitation and using the new washrooms. Discussing the role plays with communities afterwards is key to transforming the health of the village. Our Area Coordinators for the Women's Empowerment program met to plan their strategies for inspiring their communities to adopt Community Led Total Sanitation principles.

If you want to look great and support education in Pakistan- check out the new collection of shirts from We Are Love. When you buy one, the profits go to PEP! What a stylish way to support education in Pakistan!

In April, PEP organized a 5 day Teachers' Training Programme for 50 village school teachers on "Teachers as Change Agents" to make them an effective tool in transforming their community. Through role plays, games, testimonies, and lessons, the teachers grasped how they could be a change maker in their village.

If you’d like to learn more about the amazing projects you’re investing in through PEP, sign up for our monthly newsletter! Thanks again for your prayers and support.
