Over the past few months, our ballet studio has been filled with excitement, determination, and countless hours of rehearsal. Every class brings our 50 young dancers one step closer to their biggest moment of the year: the annual Pé de Moleque performance, which will take place on November 4 at the Centro Cultural Unimed-BH Minas, one of Belo Horizonte's leading performing arts venues.
For many of our students, this will be their first opportunity to perform on a professional stage before a large audience of family members, friends, and supporters. Behind every choreography is a story of perseverance. One of our young dancers, who was once too shy to perform in front of classmates, now rehearses with confidence and enthusiasm, encouraging younger students and proudly counting the days until opening night. Moments like these remind us that ballet is not only teaching technique—it is helping children discover their own potential.
This year's performance will feature celebrated classical ballet repertoire alongside a tribute to Brazilian music, showcasing the artistic growth our students have achieved throughout the year. The event will also include Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) interpretation and audio description, making this celebration of art and inclusion accessible to an even wider audience. Every rehearsal reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, and families, and we look forward to sharing the results of their hard work in our next report.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support is helping children who once had little access to arts education prepare for an unforgettable experience that will stay with them for a lifetime.
