This project provides free ballet education to 50 children and adolescents from low-income families in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Pe de Moleque offers professional classes, costumes, transportation, and stage performances that promote inclusion and equal access to art. Through dance, students gain confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills, building brighter futures and transforming their communities through culture and creativity.
In Brazil, many children from low-income families grow up without access to art, culture, or safe spaces for expression. Living in vulnerable conditions, they face limited educational opportunities, low self-esteem, and few positive role models. Public schools rarely offer consistent arts education, and extracurricular activities are often unaffordable. As a result, countless children lose the chance to explore their talents and potential.
